Our Terms at a Glance
We’re here to make sharing your story as simple, meaningful, and respectful as possible. Here’s a quick summary of how we work:
- A 50% deposit secures your booking. Full payment is due before filming. Rescheduling is free with 48 hours’ notice.
- You own the right to share and keep your videos for personal use. We’ll never use your footage publicly without your written permission.
- Filming can happen at your home or a studio — we’ll work together to choose what’s best for you.
- You’ll receive two edited videos, typically within 30 days (pending all photos submitted by storytellers) — a short highlights version and a longer keepsake.
- Video Wills created by Your Story are not legally binding. They’re personal and powerful, but not a substitute for a written legal will. We recommend speaking to a legal professional to ensure your wishes are fully protected.
We take privacy and confidentiality seriously. Your story stays yours.
